Day 1

Travel to the Grand Canyon West Rim from Las Vegas on our luxury tour bus. First, you will stop at the Hoover Dam for a photo opportunity. Then you will ride along the Mojave Desert en route to the West Rim. Enjoy a delicious breakfast snack and experience the extraordinary desert scenery as you travel. Once you reach the West Rim, you will ride the shuttle to the first interest point Eagle Point. Then your next interest points will include Guano Point and the Welcome Center. Once your tour concludes you will ride back to Las Vegas on our luxury bus. Your average hotel arrival time is around 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Las Vegas is known as the "Entertainment Capital of the World" for a good reason-- casinos and hotels line its streets, and visitors can gamble, see shows, and shop at virtually any hour of the day or night.

Hoover Dam

The beautiful Hoover Dam is located 30 miles southeast of Las Vegas in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River. The massive concrete dam was a monumental undertaking built during the Great Depression and dedicated by Franklin Roosevelt himself.

Grand Canyon, AZ

Considered one of the seven natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon was carved over 17 million years by the Colorado River. This breathtaking, 18-mile-long canyon has been stunning visitors for hundreds of years.

Grand Canyon West Rim

Located just 2 hours from nearby Las Vegas, Nevada, Grand Canyon West boasts the newest visitor attraction, the Grand Canyon Skywalk. Its plexiglass floor extends 70 feet over the edge of the Canyon's rim, allowing visitors to look straight down to the canyon floor 4,000 feet below.

Eagle Point

Eagle Point is one of the main attractions of the Grand Canyon West Rim. The area features the Skywalk Glass Bridge, and also a "Native American Village" walking tour as well as live performances and demonstrations by tribe members.

Guano Point

This scenic viewpoint gets its name from the Bat Cave Mine it overlooks. Visitors can enjoy the panoramic views of the Grand Canyon as well as learn the history of the old mine, parts of which still stand today.

Skywalk Glass Bridge

The Glass Bridge Glass Bridge suspended 4,000 feet above the Colorado River on the very edge of the Grand Canyon West Rim. It can withstand the weight of 71 fully loaded Boeing 747 airplanes (more that 71 million pounds).

Departure & Return

Departure Details:Complimentary pick-up service available from selected Strip and Downtown Las Vegas hotels. Please advise pick-up hotel at "Hotel" area. passengers will be picked-up from their hotel at approximately between 5am and 6am, depending on the hotel location. Exact pick-up time will be provided at time of confirmation.
Return Details:Approx. 5:30pm Tour returns to the original departure point.

If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.

Additional Note

We recommend comfortable walking shoes and also sunblock and hats for protection during summer months. Dressing in layers is also suggested as summer monsoon storms are common. For the winter months please dress in warm clothing.

Confirmation

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print and bring e-ticket(s) on your trip, as they serve as proof of purchase.

Booking and Reservation
All tours are for early booking, tour operator suggests the each passenger should book tour at least 3 weeks before departure date. Passenger may make reservation via email; however, seats will not be assigned until the deposit has been paid. At time of reservation, passenger may require to provide name, phone number and address and specify designated tour and date of travel.All seats are pre-assigned with numbers; seat assignment is based on a first come first serve basis after down payment.
Travel Documents
Each passenger must carry a valid travel document. (Valid visa for countries needed) (E.g. Green Card, Passport, Re-Entry Permit, and etc.) Tour operator is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.
Cancellation penalties per person (Notification day and departure day are not counted)
4 days prior to departure - 5% of total purchase amount.
Within 3 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure no show or late - 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
Broading Time and Location
All passengers must arrive 15 minutes before departure time. All passengers must show photo ID and boarding pass or tickets for boarding; absolutely no boarding without tickets. Departure time and boarding location will be confirmed after reservation is made.
Travel Insurance
Tour operator is not responsible for any loss of or damage to personal items, or personal injury that may occur on or during the tour. It is optional that passengers to buy travel insurance, for more information, please consult your travel agent.
Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control.If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
Lugggage: Tour travellers are not allowed to carry luggage of any size, but are allowed to carry backpack within the relevant size.
